My practice includes traditional
psychology, somatic (body) psychology, and polarity therapy. In
traditional psychology, I use psychotherapeutic approaches and
the theories of attachment, systems, development, character, and
object relations.
Somatic
psychology is based on the principle that the body, emotions, spirit,
and mind are truly one process. Somatic psychology investigates the
myriad ways in which emotions, attitudes, and beliefs become "embodied"
in our physical structure, posture, expression, voice, and style of
self-organization.
Polarity Therapy is based in the ancient healing
tradition of Ayurveda. This is India's traditional, natural system
of medicine that has been practiced for more than five thousand years.
